Thresholds and Transitions

Many of ours are rather negative about recent events, and that is no surprise, nor is it inappropriate if you're asking me. A job, whether we like it or not is a big part of our lives.
But despite that, I just want to lay out the facts, for clarity's sake:
Leaving this job has been destined, if you will. We tried our best, we're too tired to do our best anymore and even if we did, it wouldn't be enough.
So what can we do?
Optimally, we would rest. Implied we have the resources for that, which... we do not. As far as we know anyway. Well, there is the obvious, our so called parents and their "old money". It's certainly a walkable path, I think circumstances are unchangeable enough for us for them to believe us and help us out financially.
That is to say, considering how much the job market is on its last legs, we could easily pretend to look for a job and rest up for at least a couple of months.
My point is, we have a safety net, maybe even more. There is no need to be afraid.
As for the office politics and what we're going to do until we're fired after all? Well, that's a different question, but surely no one will be stoned for not fitting in or doing their job badly. It's over anyway, it doesn't have to be taken so seriously.
And once again, being upset over this is a reasonable reaction. We thought we found a decent, stable place to work at where we're actually good at what we do, for at least 3 years, and all of that fell through. It may seem like nothing is ever stable or safe, and that would be correct.
Our body is both wounded and human. It will never stop looking for stability and safety, and so it's something we have to provide for it. Even though our hadspace is everchanging, it might just be the stability it craves. I'll do my part anyway, and I expect the rest of you to follow suit.
